the king is dead! long live the king!
for a long time i've had a short list of the smartest TV crime fighters. #2: matlock. #1: detective columbo.
that is, until today. we have crowned a new champion. with his ability to use technology like no other, his snappy one-liners that provide beatiful segue into the theme song, coupled with overcoming a serious degenerative hearing loss, gil grissom of CSI has ascended the ranks and claimed the #1 spot.
