scam!
after spending two nights in a crappy hotel room, we checked our reservation from hotels.com, which said we had paid for a "one bedroom suite". the definition of that is a room with a separate bedroom, kitchen, and living area. this is not what we had, and what we had was not worth nearly what we paid.
upon taking up this issue with the bitc^H^H^H^Hlady on duty, we were told to take it up with hotels.com. we told her that she was the one who put us in a crappy room when we paid for a suite. her argument? well, we guarantee a room but not the TYPE of room.
so it turns out that hotels.com charges you for a suite and the hotel gives you whatever room they want. sounds like a freaking scam to me.
well, screw you all, we're telling our credit card company not to pay you. so there.
