whoa there, grandma-dude!
i was talking on the phone the other day with my grandma burke, who turned 84 this year. i always knew she was pretty cool, but i didn't realize how cool until we had the following conversation.
gram: so what do you want for christmas?
me: (jokingly) how about a car?
gram: (playing along) sure, what kind do you want?
me: ummm, maybe a porsche, or a jag...
gram: oh, i was sure you were going to say a hummer.
me: dang, gram, you're hipper than i am!
bfuller would be proud.

Very good. But she is in Cleveland right? Everybody there knows about Hummers since that what the new mayor of Cleveland, LeBron, drives.
