la la la la la i can't hear you la la la
so we went to the second ultrasound today. we made it clear to the ultrasound tech that we didn't want to know the gender of the baby, so if she was going to "pan down", she should warn us to avert our eyes. as it turned out, while she was looking the baby's legs were crossed so you couldn't see anything anyway.
she went to have the doctor take a quick look just to verify what she found, and we didn't tell him about the gender thing. about 5 minutes into his looking, i realized that if he were to blurt out, "looks like you're going to have a [girl|boy]", it would be about 3 orders of magnitude worse than the times people tell me the freaking score of the purdue game even though they know damn well that i tivo'd it and will watch it later. so i made sure to speak up. ;)
photos coming soon, once my damn scanner works.

Its so odd how some people have to know (me) and some people want to wait (you). I have yet to figure out what it takes to be on one side of the line or the other.
