it's a boy!
baby boy burke was born at 6:41 PM EDT, august 2, 2004! (i say "baby boy" because the name is not decided yet.) he weighed 7 lbs., 1 oz. at birth and is 19" long. mom and baby are doing great -- only 20 minutes of pushing for mom, which she was very very happy about, once the epidural kicked in.
we'll post some pictures tomorrow when we have a faster connection. ;)

Wait about a week to see what sex I pop out, i may have a ton of hand-me-downs for the little fellow! I hear Jil is a popular name for boys this season.
