when the whatleys were in town, i spent a lot of time reading to the kids because there were 4 kids requesting stories instead of just one. during one story, kayla (on the left in the photo), was just listening and touching my shoulder. after i was done, she looked at me very seriously and said, "you're very handsome." i told her thank you very much for the compliment. there was more. "and you smell good, too," she said.
boy, that girl really knows what she's talking about. i need her to have a chat with my wife who only lets me know when i look or smell bad!
